First day of teaching!

My first class was this morning bright and early! I think it went well...people smiled after so that's a good thing. It's always hard to take over for a well liked teacher, people get grumpy with change. Luckily in NYC I AM that teacher that people love, so it's ok to be on the other side for a bit. We'll see how tonight's class goes.

Today I hung around the Humane Society booth that I'm going to work at once per week and chatted with one of the employees. I'll be selling animal goods. Of course it is RIGHT next to the touristy area where the cruise ships come in. Let's just say I'll have a lot of video of fat, trashy, wasted americans. It's quite vile to see. Now I recall why Kevin and I have more recently written off all cruises. That should be amusing for you all to see.

After that I went to a hotel beach that's close by, chilled there for a few hours and read my book. Came back, dealt with NYC studio business (it's amazing how much can go wrong in two days) now posting this, and preparing for my class.

So like an idiot, I forgot to bring the usb cord for the camera amongst my other 10,000 cords that I brought. And I can't get the computer to recognize the memory chip. You may have to wait until Kevin brings the cord or I can figure this out.

BUT I will not leave you empty handed, oh no, here's an exciting, thrilling, awe-inspiring video of the cat.

Enjoy.
